He could.

Would help if he stopped launching and did more wrap up tackle.

I think Ronald Martin kills it and becomes a star. Then will be a 1st Rd'er next year.

If they start ejecting people for high hits on defenseless players, he'll hardly see the field.

Loston became one of our better leaders and tacklers late in the season.

Early on he struggled bad, but people gotta remember how much he's been hurt. That's gotta provide a bit of rust.

Rewatch the Ole Miss game. He seemed like the only safety who could take angles to make the tackle. Reid was fricking awful at choosing which angle to take. I think Reid was trying to hard to be the "tyrann" of this year's defense instead of just laying back and doing his job.

I Kige the frick out of this.

I like our D next year. The corners will be better due to the experience they got last year. Ronald Martin and Loston provide a great adn experienced safety net.

Our linebackers will be the best we've had since Bradie James and Trev Faulk roamed the field.

Freak is poised for a break out on the DL. The only concern I have is the DL though. Our young DEs could prove to be explosive, but playing good contain against mobile QBs comes with experience. That worries me a bit. Luckily, we dont play any tremendous spread QBS until late in the season

More than anything he needs to be a/the leader of this defense... There will be a ton of young talent on the field and that will be key in their success

As much as I want it to happen, I don't think he becomes a star on this defense. I hope I'm wrong.

Loston had the best year in the secondary imo. Going to have a amazing season and go 1st to 2nd round. And Ronald Martin is a baller, I think he could go 1st or 2nd round eventually.

He has gotten better every year. If he continues that progression and plays the entire year without injury, I think he has a good shot.

Wow he's bulked up quite a bit from that video.

I'm pretty excited to see him back there. And he sure did come on at the end. I think it's always been a question of health and not talent with him

Word was that Poppa got a 2nd Round grade from the NFL Advisory Committee, which is what made him consider it like he did.

He can be really effective with a Brandon Taylor/Tyrann Mathieu next to him to give LSU that coverage safety.

I think so.

Also I think Loston and Martin will be the best safety combo in the SEC this year. IMO, Martin will be better than Reid. Everytime he came in the game last season, it seems like he made a big play.
