He stole from the Kings tax collectors and return the tax money back to the people. Even the wealthier ones tax money was returned. Robin Hood would be a Tea Partier

Perhaps all of you should reread the tale of Robin Hood and forget the many movies. The tale is fiction, the movies are fantasy. Try thinking about the levels of tax. Federal, State, County, City, and in some cases Suburb.
