Would you trade Lopez for Minny's 1st rounder?

Woj...
As of today, they're right about where we would be in the draft. Somewhere between 5-10.
If they're willing to give up a first for the human poster, Mosgov, you gotta figure they'd take Lopez.
Roy's contract is non guaranteed next year.

Meh...I'd think about it
But probably not

No. I'd rather keep spending just $3m more on Lopez than we would in the draft pick and continue having a proven capable starting C.

The more I look at it, the more i'm not sure which team actually offered the deal...

I'm confused here. It says the Twolves turned down the deal, so I don't think they were the ones that wanted to give up the 1st rounder.

I doubt Minny offered this. Mozgov averages less than 3 points and less than 3 rebounds a game.

Maybe. If they have a dirty work big in mind in FA, I say go for it. Being able to draft Porter and Oladipo would be a much need boost in depth/athleticism

Minnesota has offered multiple first-round picks for established wing players in the league, sources said.

Yeah wording is weird. But if Twolves offered that deal then I'm surprised Denver turned that down.

No. This is a weak draft. Dont trade away our cheap Center for a lottery pick in a really weak draft.

Gordon isn't white. Minnesota wouldn't want him.

i dont think i would
im tired of trading or talking about trading productive players.
at some point you have to keep them, and hope to build. And not keep taking steps backwards in order to solidify the future. Or you'll never get out of that hole, imo

The wording isn't weird, y'all just can't read.
I wouldnt do the deal, because I think this draft is weak. I want to trade our first.

I agree with keeping guys who are good players. I think Lopez is a formidable center who has shown a burst in production since coming over here. I don't think he wants to leave, and we shouldn't send him packing for a first rounder that could be another Austin Rivers for all we know.

Considering the market price for big men, I feel Lopez is underpaid for the kind of production he puts up.
He's not great, but this is a league where a stiff like Kwame Brown can get $7m a season.

This. Truth is, this year we just don't have many tradeable players that would benefit us. Last year we had vets on the last year of their deal (Jack, Kaman, Landry), or that just didn't fit with the team that made sense for us to trade. This year it makes no sense for us to trade our productive players on good salaries like GV or Lopez, unless it is an offer we can't refuse.
