I've been doing as much research as I can, but don't know which one is better. It's for a birthday, and much help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I have a friend that works at Clancys so I lean toward there and sit in his section.

I enjoy Commanders as well but I find Clancys a little less stuffy

Totally different places. It depends on what you are looking for.

I like Clancy's. Have not been to Commander's.

I'd pick Clancy's but I think Commander's is overrated...not bad, just overrated.

Completely depends on what you're looking for.

Commander's is an "experience". Everyone in the area should go to Commander's at least a couple of times in their lives.

Clancy's food is better, at least for me.

Agree with Fun Bunch. Atmosphere/experience better at Commanders. Food at Clancys. I think Patois has better food than both

when is the birthday? If you have about 4-6 months to wait, the Chefs Table at Commanders is well worth the wait.

If not then I would go with Clancys
