Bruce WIllis and The Rock in the new GI Joe movie?

Has Bruce Willis become the new Samuel L Jackson?
Willing to do any movie without looking at the script so long as the pay is right?
...and I'm surprised by the move here. It seems to me that the studio is trying to right a wrong by getting some decent actors and giving G I Joe the treatment it deserves seeing as it is one of the cornerstones of my childhood.
If it wasn't for G I Joe I STILL wouldn't know that knowing is half the battle.

Knowing Rachel Nichols isn't in this one will effectively battle any inclination for me to want to see it.

This movie was originally supposed to come out last summer. When the focus groups got wind of the fact that Duke was supposed to die early in the movie, the feedback was so negative, they had to reshoot the entire movie.

I heard this had more to do with Tatum becoming a leading man in Hollywood over the course of the first film and now.
It's not so much Duke dying as much as who was portraying him exiting the film so early.

If it wasn't for Snake Eyes I probably wouldn't even go see this. Still might not see it, the first one was that bad to me.

JGL was in the first one and everyone still loves him. Actually saw the first one in theaters and it was pretty bad. Rachel Nichols was about the only thing worth watching.

I don't know Adrianne Palicki looks pretty good in the commercial.
