The junk took over most of the yard it seemed. Had to break out the weed eater last week because of the rainy weather just so I could stand to look at the yard.

Lawn mower is next if it stays dry...

Just went for a quick jog but I'm about to get back into the beer.

The grapefruit rye turned out great. Was very nervous about this first batch of all grain beer but I think we did just fine.

Made some alterations to the mash tun and the second batch went much smoother today.

Mainly what all of mine is. Usually try to mulch before and after winter, but I got lazy this fall. I good combo of herbicide and muratic acid took care of those today.

Thistle has been a bitch in my back yard this winter.

FBD - North Coast Old Rasputin
It's a good way to celebrate my thesis advisor approving my thesis. Now I just have to defend later this week.

I've been working pretty hard on it since last August, and I've had to brief what I've found so far to the Pentagon on a couple occasions. I think doing that prepared me for defending. Even though my advisor hacked off on the last chapter Friday, I think I'm ready to defend and get it over with.

Lakewood Hop Trapp belgian style IPA. I am not a big fan of this style, but this is pretty good.

I really like that one but it isn't a very "Belgian" Belgian style IPA, was actually kind of disappointed the 1st time I tried it. However, after a few or 10 more, I really like it for what it is.

I did not finish it honestly. I love IPAs and Belgian style ales, but I don't care for the mix.

She used a ceramic square and covered the labels in a few layers of mod podge. Then sprayed them with a few layers of a clear gloss.

My office is closed tomorrow. I will go in and work for a few hours, but nothing serious. I will have another shortly.
