He is no world beater by any means but it is pretty shocking how much he has developed. He saw a couple of minutes in garbage time last year and it was downright comical. I can't even imagine what his first couple of practices must have looked like.

Even earlier this year, he was absolutely gassed after a couple of trips down the court. Now, he is getting quality minutes, is an intimidating presence in the paint on defense and has a pretty sweet stroke at the free throw line. Hats off to whoever is responsible. Incredible development in a short period of time.

Dude still looks lost on offense, but he has become a damn strong paint protector.

I would love to see what a couple more years of coaching would have gotten him.

Del Piero has the want...plus he knows his coaches believe in him. the kid is a testament to what can happen when you and the ones around you never stop working to improve.

geaux Del Piero.

I know he is a senior, but does he have any eligibility left? He hasn't been on the team for 4 years has he? Can you play Ball and go to grad school? I would like to see him another year.

It really is unbelievable. Dude couldn't pass the preliminary conditioning tests and was, by all accounts, a clown on the REC courts and now he is a passable D-1 player.
