Offense isnt going to be rsvamped. Just improved upon. Also like stud at oline. Because it really is the oline that the offense hinges on. No protection for ur qb, we wont be playing in atlanta.

When speaking of qb's why do we automatically insert Mett's name. Maybe we've seen everything he has to offer, maybe not. I truly hope Rivers and others are seriously considered. We've seen the pitfalls of putting your blinders on.

but of course one thing I see happening is negatigers are going to rant that the offense looks exactly the same as the previous season.
Absolutely nothing that is said on this message board will have an effect what-so-ever on anything that Cam Cameron does either with the offense or the individual player performance. Anybody that really thinks message board geek talk has anything at all to do with actual performance on the field are delusional individuals. ( And I know that some of you really do think that. )

Coming to terms with fact that Mett is incapable of executing change yet has always preferred being somewhere else.

qb development. pass blocking improvement. possibly (and i hope so) developing a change of pace offense to use at times (wildcat, option read, etc).

I also wonder how long until he gets full control of the offense
The gameplan and much of the playsheet is by committee and Studs will likely still have input also.
I doubt Cam will ever have full control of the O, seeing as he works for Miles.
Les is the head coach, and Les Miles coached teams have 4/5 top offenses in LSU history, with 2 teams better than Saban's lone entry. DWI

How much does it really matter that "Miles coached teams have 4/5 top offenses in LSU history"? We're not playing against "Miles coached teams."

We need to get better on O so we can win championships.

WRT to the OP, I think the biggest challenge is purging out the "slog" identity and forging a new identity. The talent is there including Mett. Just need to develop some chemistry.

Well by deduction if you say Miles offenses suck, you are condemning every LSU offense beneath it in history.
That should rub a true LSU fan the wrong way.
Let me know if it doesn't make sense and I can explain it in non-football related terms.

I don't think you got the point.

FTR, your (first) protasis is false. Therefore, its apodosis is irrelevant. But this thread isn’t about you or me, is it? It’s about “the biggest challenge Cam will face with revamping the offense.” Wanna weigh-in on that?

First, my post wasn't for AlwysATgr, but a rebuttal of a 2nd post the OP snuck in there that had nothing to do with his OP.
But since you want in, protasis- pg 142, TDs Rushing and Passing
Of course your ruler may be the yards, but for me it's irrelevant how much a team can move up and down the field without scoring.
To each his own.

I'll humor you on the challenge, but unfortunately the answer won't be the "MILES, har, har, har!!!" which everyone loves to hear.
I expect Cameron's biggest challenge will be to teach QBs to recognize stunts, blitz and covers, especially 3-4 based.
A lot of sacks, hurries etc, were Mett's own fault by not recognizing keys, as visible by TEs and RBs not shifting gap and generally too many misses in one play to be coincidence.

I'm gone back to the BB thread, have a nice day.
