Is it just me, or does anyone else think trading Gordon would be silly?

If the Pelicans win the lottery again and get the first pick in the draft, I probably trade Gordon.

Trading Gordon this year makes no sense, and the Warriors GM should be fired if he gave up Klay Thompson for Gordon.

I'd take ahealthy Gordon over Klay Thompson. Thompson may be the better shooter, but Gordon has a wider skill set. I do like Thompson as player though and he might be a better asset today.

Now Curry for Gordon is something I'd ponder.

That's the only way i'd be ok with trading Gordon but only after Ben McLemore shows me something and Gordon raises his value.

That's a pretty big IF. I mean if he's perfectly healthy, then we're prob not having any of these conversations. But yes, I'd take Gordon over Klay if he's 100% healthy as well.

What prompts this is the shitty media members of New Orleans on twitter
People like to talk trades. I also think they playing on the few that are still stuck on Gordon's shenanigans.
This guy brought some serious heat on himself, surely it still lingers in some circles.
I personally think he is a great player to have, but man does he rubb me the wrong way at times. Like the quietest Madonna ever.

Allstar break chatter gonna Allstar break chatter

I would also say unlike CP3, Gordon hasn't done much to embrace being in NOLA. I could be wrong.

Very accurate statement.

At least AD has embraced the city.

I like how this reaction comes after a 1 game wrist sprain, too.

I dont think there is a vast difference in talent between Curry and Gordon. I am a big fan of both those guys.

He missed the last two games before the All-Star game and the team looked awesome without him (two 20+ point blowouts).

So I guess you forgot those first 30 or so games without him where we looked historically bad?

If he's gonna puss around and sit out every time he has a boo boo, I want his arse gone. I've been wanting his arse gone anyway because I think he's not the leader this team needs.

I think a young team would start getting better anyway. Hes been an avg boost but kinus maybe one game its still like hes hurt in 4th quarters. He has a terrible turnovee late every game.

I can't stand the people who say, "He is such a bitch and puss, we should trade him!" I care about W's and L's and we get a ton more W's with him.

There truly has to be a perfect fit by 2 or more teams. One that specifically fits the hornets needs both talent wise & financially.

Lest we forget that most trade partners would have to match salary, they are going to have to give up a good package of young players on affordable deals.

McNamara thinking we can get Klay Thompson for Gordon?

McNamara is out of his mind on some of these scenarios. His #1 trade idea is to send Vasquez, Lopez and a first for the right to give Brandon Jennings sonething close to a max contract.

The Thompson rumors are dumb. GS saves no money and gets another injury prone guard who just signed a max deal- huzzah!

If anyone legit was actually reporting that, I would bet the farm that the Hornets leaked that to try to set the market.
