I can't speak highly enough about Cotton on the river. Really reasonable lunch menu too.

Bacco is a new Italian place in town. Very good, and they have daily lunch specials.

when peopel ask about Monroe eats I always suggest Mohawk Tavern.

Also The Pickle Barrel, but they are mostly sandwiches.

Thread hijack: I am staying at a hotel by Pecanland Mall. What are F&D board's thoughts on dinner at Warehouse No 1. OK or cross the river to Waterfront Grill? Will have two teenagers. Thanks in advance.
