Revenge would be good. Chicks love it and its decent enough IMO.
My fiancé loves walking Dead.
Friday night lights is fantastic as well....it's certainly not all football.
Lost is probably the best of what has been suggested. You two will just have no free time for a few weeks bc it's crazy addictive.
American horror story season one is fantastic. As is newly released to Netflix only house of cards.

Castle is a good one most chicks like Castle.
Supernatural, Boardwalk, 6 feet under etc....
this is a hard one for me because me and my wife have similar taste and she hates stuff like Grey's. Thank God.
Try Nurse Jackie or Sherlock maybe.

You'll have to go back and watch some of the older episodes (although going back one season will be fine), Person of Interest is one of the best series I've seen in a long time.

Haven't seen it mentioned yet, but my wife and I are hooked on Homeland. Lots of T/A though, so keep that in mind.
