Should we quit our jobs and start a guerrilla movement now or after he abolishes the Bill of Rights and starts sending dissenters to internment camps?

Historical illiterate, see the above poster for example. Who won the German elections in July 1932? Some party called the ummm Nazis led by a guy whose name starts with an H...Hitler or something like that?
Hitler lost the 1932 elections by a fairly wide margin to Hindenburg. Hindenburg appointed Hitler as Chancellor. Historical illiterate....try again.

Revolutionaries: "Let's form our own country, we are sick of England and their tyranny." Loyalists: "No."
In reality the Revolutionaries said "no" to England because England was trying to impose their will on us. There are things on both sides that "no' should be said to. 100% Conservative or 100% Liberal is bad. For example... right now "No" should be said to many of Obama's economic policies, such as increased Gov't spending and programs. They should say yes to more cuts, and welfare reform. Repubs should be saying "yes" to gay rights, because it is an individuals right to choose how they live their life without discrimination. Just one example of the many where both parties need to give in on one issue to find a "middle of the road" policy that starts to get this country equal and free, with smaller government and balanced budget.

And I have 0 doubt in my mind that if he did this you would be here to defend it.

I assume you mean "equal" opportunity, D. True equality and freedom are paradoxical, can not co-exist.

There was a time when winning the Nobel Prize meant something. Now... . The respect for Authority is being eroded. Thanks to liars manipulating 'mob rule' dupes and idiots. Truth matters in the long run. Win some...lose some...on the way.

Has Socialism or Communism ever worked? I have not seen another country rise to the top like America has with it's Capitalistic Republic. It seems like once America shifted to more Progressive policies (Bush included) it has done nothing but failed.

It's what happens when Law protects people's right to work their asses off to get ahead, and not have the fruits of that extraordinary labor CONFISCATED by others. Very unique in history. That's why Michelle says that "we have to *change* our history..." . Change history. What the gal means is that we have to *change* the idea that our history is a GOOD thing. We did on the backs of stealing the Indians land (slave-holding, torturous, land conquerers themselves) and African slaves (same there). BS...we exploded AFTER we got that stuff behind us. It's called incentive and motivation. Guarantee the (economic) freedom of individuals, and watch them get with it. Exponential creativity. This bunch has a chip on their should. Called Envy. The Good Lord says that "the poor shall be with you ALWAYS". Why...because some folks will always try to ride the wagon, instead of helping pull it. To them...it's the smart thing to do. That will NEVER go away; at least the idea. Though dictators can try to herd cats. Over here, cats, would be lions.

Meh, China's Communism isn't quite the same as when one thinks of it under the Soviet Union. However, the lassiez-faire form of Capitalism so yearned for by this board has never existed in their lifetime and won't exist in their future.
