George is an All Star and team's best player. He kept that team in home court advantage contention with Granger out. Grevis is at least the 3rd best player on the Hornets.

If one guy went from a role player last year to the best player on his top 3 playoff team, you don't think that has anything to do with MIP opposed to a guy who is the 3rd best player on a team well out of the playoff hunt? Lets not forget he is an All Star too.

He is an All-Star, but he is not the best player. David West is the guy that makes Indiana go.
George is a very good player- would love to have him in NO. But the big difference between this season and last for him is minutes. He is rebounding and assisting better than before, but all his other rates are pretty similar. To be sure, that is an accomplishment when you're playing heavy minutes, but how much has he really improved if he was doing this last year at 29 mpg?
