The last time I ordered anything from southern proper, about this time last year, all they had was bow ties and hats.

I wear both, it is harder to find a good fit in Lacoste though. Others have said it they run short, and wide. Pain in the arse to get one that fits right. That being said, I wear mostly RLP.

Southern Marsh is crap. Everything of theirs is not quality but they price it like it's Southern Tide or something.

RL run way too large except for the custom fit unless you are a fat-ass.

Nah, you tuck them in. The custom fit doesn't fit my arms and if I get a size bigger they look the same around my stomach as the regulars. I have to tuck them in or they'll "float" around my midsection. Adults don't try to dress like hollister kids. I'm 6' 195 and ralph lauren fits fine. Polos shouldn't be form fitting like Abercrombie type clothes.

Companies have different fits nowadays. Just go to the website and look up the measurements.

"Tucking them in" doesn't take away from the fact that they are way too wide for someone who doesn't have a gut. Btw I like form fitting polo shirts because I don't have a gut. There is a reason why your conventional Polo Ralph Lauren brand polo is by far the most popular polo in the states - because your average american male has a gut.

I don't have a gut either but I have a broad chest. And if I get a shirt that fits my chest it's too big around my stomach. The customs just work the same for me. A custom fit sized L makes me look like I'm trying to look "swole" and shop at baby gap. If I get the XL customs to fit my chest it does the same thing around my waist. As the normal sized polos.
