Movie Board's opinion on Lost

Oh boy, floodgates might be open now.

Let me just save you some time. The majority of people will answer the same way as I feel; it is a fantastic show, really truly great and will sweep you up and take you away. It is definitely worth it, and while you may end up with a few questions that are somewhat trivial, the ending makes it all worthwhile. [Btw, it is tied for my 2nd favorite show of all time.]

A far less percentage will say "It was pretty good, but it started to drag about halfway and the end sucked"

Then maybe one or two people will say "don't waste your time, it sucked and is too unbelievable and leaves too many things unanswered".


The majority will be in camp 1 though. If you have the time and the commitment (because it is long and will take a while), it is undoubtedly worth watching.

But yes definitely it's my favorite ever for several reasons. Is it the best ever... NO. But it's a hell of a lot of fun with a great cast. Watching on demand/dvd is the best.

It's easily one of the most unique and captivating shows in TV history and at times one of the most entertaining. It's not perfect and it's easy to nitpick. But I think the nitpicking stems from how vested people become in the show. The show fell victim to the expectations it created because of how good it was.

It's absolutely worth watching.

Most will say its a must see (It's my favorite show of all time for the record), but some people are butthurt over parts of it. The show evolves into something else entirely that you won't expect from the beginning, so just prepare for that. This is the show I recommend most, and this board was crazy over it a few years ago.
