I have 3 cases of MRE's from my refugee days of Katrina. Are they still eatable or do I dump them?

I have been keeping them in my workshop on the top shelf, not climate controlled.

The expiration date is hogwash.

I swear the last few boxes we got for training ops were at least 6-8 years old.

Same as it ever was

They should be good. My family from Met brought a couple cases with them back in 05. I ate like a king. For some reason I was the only one that wanted them
