I just raided some dude I was maxed out 21 seconds into the battle. I really need to learn how to adjust my troops. I always overkill. I'm damn wasteful.

i was that way too. youll get the feel for it as you raid more. 5 of my lvl 3 goblins can demolish a mine in 6 seconds. i replace them as they get blasted.
i used to deploy everyone and lay waste to the guy but now its a controlled invasion.

I deploy the troops in waves so mortars won't destroy them all at once.

to deploy archers, wait til barbarians or giants are distracting the tourets.
to deploy goblins wait til archers, barbarians, and giants are distracting all their defensive tourets.
also don't hold your finger down when releasing them. release them one at a time spread out in waves.
so drop 10-15 on side side of the map spread out.
wait 15-20 seconds deploy another wave.

Also, deploy a single unit (usually a barb), then bring out your wall buster. It'll allow him to work his majic without getting hurt.

Should I wait to rebuild my clan castle, and instead upgrade my town hall so I'll be able to get enough fence to surround it with my town hall, defenses, and storages? Or just go ahead and rebuild it even though it's going to sit outside of everything?
