Ever since my last iphone software upgrade my phone doesn't want to charge if I'm consistently playing a game... anyone else have this problem? it will show the plugged in symbol, but not charging... it eventually dies.

I'm not sure if it's the software, or cause it gets hot.... if I turn it off and back on it sometimes fixes it.... I just now turned mine off and stuck it in the freezer for a few to see what happens.

If I leave game on and on the charger playing I have the charging icon and it will charge but it will be very very slow

mine switches from charging to just plugged in.. very annoying....

RAID FAIL Story of the Day.
....thought i had hit the jackpot.
dude had 300K in gold. 350k in elixir. I bring my standard group to the party: 12 level 4 giants, 1 level 2 Healer, 8 level 3 wall-breakers, 72 level 4 archers.
his setup: a 4 layer thick gold wall protecting his storage a 3 high level mortars. everything else right out in the open.
BINGO! right?
negative. i took out 57% and got trophies, but didn't get a any resources besides about 10k a piece in his mines. I did manage to take out the rest of his defenses on the edges and the mortar wasn't having all that great of an effect due to my healer, but he had hidden 3 level 3 hidden teslas which raped my archers and giants in the end.
i even breached this great wall with the wall breakers. but everyone was dead before any loot was taken.
....55k in elixir down the drain.

Thoughts on best ways to hide the teslas? Or where to put them to get the most impact?

I just built my 1st tesla today. My 2nd will finish tomorrow, so I will need to figure that out myself.
I do know that they have the range of 7 tiles, but are only triggered when an enemy is within 5 tiles. if that makes sense. but when your village has 50%+ damage taken to it, they automatically deploy.
i would think you would want them protected much like mortar as a last measure of defense, but someone with more experience with them may advise otherwise.

That's kind of what I'm thinking. I have my storages boxed in with my 3 mortars, thinking about expanding that center and putting the teslas in.
Frustrating tho bc I just restructured my entire village.

i'm thinking that once i hit level 9 townhall in 4 days, i'm going to structure my village very similar to this guy's setup
watch his teslas absolutely wreck the few guys who made it thru his first wall.

That guy is an a-hole for filming that the way he did. Also, the #1 guy in all of CoC spent $2,000 on the last update alone? Christ...

My best advice is to watch where people attack you. For instance, if you have 1 mortar on your outside layer and everyone attacks you there, protect that weak spot with a Tesla.
Tesals are excellent to trap with, but if it's super obvious people will just avoid them since they don't have a large range.

I have my teslas on outside in an area that look unsecured. So many people have dropped wall breakers/giants/barbs there thinking an easy wall to break down and then my 2 Tesla's that are hidden pop up and then the giants and barbs get beat down.
They eventually destroy my Tesla but because they focused on that my mortars/wizard/archers/cannons usually have them pretty much destroyed first.
