I watched all the Superman films recently. I enjoyed them all as a kid, because it's f'n Superman.
I found them to all be cheesy and pretty horrible by today's standards, but Superman 3 and 4 are unacceptable. I did like General Zod in 2, but 3 and 4 were just turrible. The original was ok, but way too much build up for a story that most people already knew anyway. That's just me, though.

Sounds a lot like Spider-Man 3.
This was the only Superman I haven't seen but there's no way it could be worse than The Quest for Peace.

that, the braces scene from Poltergeist 2, the library ghost at the start of Ghostbusters, and Large Marge in Pee Wee's Big Adventure all scared the hell out of me
