It's New Orleans' fault a Texan killed these people while on vacation.

New Orleans is a shithole

technically this was in St. James Parish, aka LaPlace. So LaPlace is a shithole?

Even worse...New Orleans sucks because a drunk driver from Houston, Texas killed someone in a city that is not New Orleans?

Sad story. Here's the local news story about it: LINK

Yahoo said the ones who died were also the mom & stepdad of a standout high school football player, DeAndre Williams.

lets not make this story about NOLA or this parish or that parish...its just a sad story no matter where it happened. so sad that these people had just celebrated a very cool experience with their nephew. this can happen anywhere.

I always wonder where the DWI defenders on this board are in threads like this. I want one of them to tell this family that DWI's are all about money and profit.

Allegedly, this drunk bitch was "driving in the emergency lane at a high rate of speed" and plowed into the back of an Altima that was stopped in the emergency lane. They're going to (or should) put her under the jail if this is true.

my gosh. its amazing she didn't cause even more devastation.

I heard the that percentage odds of being arrested while driving drunk are 5,000 to 1.

That means the ones who get caught have done it quite often without getting caught.
