It's probably not the top overall class but it's certainly the deepest.

I think this is the best class we have ever had. Saban included. There is just so much depth. Has to be the best #5 class in the history of Rivals. lol

I agree.

We haven't had a class this deep and talented and spread over so many positions before. This class will be a backbone to our program for 4 years.

For Miles, it would rank 3rd (or maybe 4th). If you combine Saban and Miles together at LSU, it would be 5th (or maybe 6th).

The top of that one was the best. I think this one, from top to bottom, is still the best.

That one also had Wilkerson.

Very good class. There are a few low rated signees we got that should have been higher. But we all know why. The Bower kid is a pleasant surprise. But we had a hint of that already.

D-line class was as good or better than the LB haul last year.

The lowest rated guys in the class would probably be Malone and Neal. Those guys have a good chance of playing very soon.

This class is alot like the pre-Turtle baseball classes.

The kind that had so many damn good "1a" players that they won championships with.

To me this is the best because of what they will have coming back to go along with the great talent coming in.

The only class that looks better than this one is 2009.

ETA: 2009 class will have 9 or 10 guys in the NFL next year, with Barrow, T Jones, and Loston still starting for our D.

Very few busts from that class.

I think 2011 might be slightly better than this one as well. But other than that I'd say this is top 3

Splitting hair's close, but only time will tell, either way with a few other SEC teams stepping up their programs and Bama being Bama, this is a must need class to be able to compete. If Cameron were to come in, it would IMO put us right were we need to be and perhaps another championship!!

Actually, if I was going by "Team Rankings", I would elevate this 2013 recruiting class - seeing as how it has accumulated more points than any LSU class in Rivals history.

I have been doing this a long time, and my opinions are my own. And IMO, both 2009 and 2011 are clearly better than this 2013 recruiting class. Note this comparison is based purely on what they look like coming out of high school, and not adjusted for the 2009/2011 classes because some players didn't pan out as hoped/expected. After all, this 2013 class hasn't had the opportunity to succeed (or fail) on the field yet.
