Buying votes works. Filling federal government jobs with people who want those jobs for perpetuity works. Being a Congressman/Senator/high profile journalist pays big time.
Look at the last 2 Republican candidates. They would have been better than the true believing new world order folks we have now, but they didn't represent some sea-change in how we would do things.

To be fair , the Dems in DC have alot of important things their dealing with, Like Sandra Flucks birth control and steve and steve's wedding rights. Priorites people!

Rachel Maddow was the first MSNBC host to go after Obama on Monday night, and yesterday it seems like the rest of them jumped on the bandwagon. There's a similarity between Obama and W when it comes to their respective parties. When W was in office and spending money like a drunken sailor, we got to find out which members of Congress were true fiscal conservatives and which ones were Republican locksteppers. With Obama, we're finding out who are the true foreign policy liberals and who are the Democratic locksteppers.

I think the problem is the stupid declaration of "War" on Al Qaeda. War is something that happens between two countries, not a country and some nebulous terrorist group (why do I feel like I am defining marriage?).
I think we need a new amendment to clearly define the powers of the executive branch in fighting terrorism. The declaration of war is outdated and you wind up with the loss of liberties when you extend the battlefield to the entire world.

Obama HAS DECIDED (how half white of him) to release the memo after ABC leaked it. wtf?
And the huffy post reports it like some kind of a great Presidential act he did by the release.
