No definitely not on the same level as other state's top 3 but I love the appeal of desert courses and the overrall quality of arizona's courses is probably second to only south carolina.

Very true. I played out at troon north in Arizona and it was immaculate probably the best manicured course I've ever played

man, rating golf courses these days is so subjective. imo, pebble beach is, at best , the 3rd best on the monterray peninsula and here you have them best in the state. it is just impossible to only have 3 in california; that state is loaded with incredible courses. but there are other states just as loaded; florida for instance.
