Switch Jamaica and Costa Rica. Then we could call you Grant Wahl.

I think Jamaica will qualify.

1. USA
2. Honduras
3. Panama
4. Mexico - plays New Zealand to a scoreless penalty shootout where Rafa Maraquez has to hit the game-tying PK to keep Mexico, but slips, tears his ACL, and watches the roll softly into the keeper's gloves.
5. Costa Rica
6. Jamaica

re: Eve of the Hex- Predictions Thread

I think you guys are grossly overrating Panama.

Just look at this roster:

quote:

Goalkeepers: Jaime Penedo (Municipal, Guatemala), Luis Mejia (Fenix, Uruguay).

Defenders: Luis Henriquez (Lech Poznan, Poland), Felipe Baloy (Santos, Mexico), Roman Torres (Millonarios, Colombia), Carlos Rodriguez (Chepo), Jean Carlos Cedeno (Alianza), Harold Cummings (Arabe Unido), Leonel Parris (Tauro).

Midfielders: Rolando Escobar (Anzoategui, Venezuela), Amílcar Henriquez (Inde. Medellin, Colombia), Gabriel Gomez (Atl. Junior, Colombia), Armando Cooper (Godoy Cruz, Argentina), Anibal Godoy (Chepo), Juan De Dios Perez (Tauro), Marcos Sanchez (Tauro).

Forwards: Yairo Yau (Sydney, Australia), Rolando Blackburn (FK Senica, Slovakia), Blas Perez (FC Dallas), Luis Renteria (Tauro), Alcibiades Rojas (Atletico Chiriqui).

Bolded are name(s) I recognize.

I'm pulling for the reggaeboyzzz

1. Mexico
2. USA
3. Costa Rica
4. Jamaica
5. Honduras
6. Panama

It seems Costa Rica is typically higher up the table in these groups, a bit surprised they're being picked so low.
