As an NFL OC, his offenses have been in the top half of the NFL every year except his 1st in San Diego

Thought is that Krag would go into an Admin role.

The lack of carries Rice had was the issue. I think we can all rest assured our running game will not be an issue as long as Miles is coach. Adding Cams qb expertise and creativity calling plays will mix very well with our run heavy scheme. Should be fun to watch.

I'm a Ravens fan and I liked Cameron. Of course, he got in a pissing contest with the team's franchise QB, and you simply can't do that in the NFL. Teams will choose the QB every time.

And while I was frustrated by Rice's ever-shrinking role, part of that was Rice's fumble issues. And the fact he's better getting the ball off screen passes than on handoffs, and we don't want to base our offense on screen passes.

How much do you pay a hire like this? 1.5 mil? Have too. Right?

It's to the point where we need to just pay the man. I can't watch this shitshow of an offense much longer.

I can't believe there are some guys in this thread who don't like the hire. Unbelievable. Never satisfied.

I'd say in the $1 mil range. Chavis is at $1.1 mil.

It's the rant.

Some people wouldn't be satisfied if we won 3 out of 4 NC's

Tomlinson won the MVP with Cameron as the OC in San Diego, so clearly he doesn't always abandon the run. Baltimore had Bernard Pierce this year to take some of the load off of Ray Rice.

I love chavis. He is one of the best DC's in college football. But cam is one of the greatest OC's in the nfl.

The level of execution he will bring is worth a mil by itself at this point.

Did norv or cam call plays when cam was in SD? I honestly don't know, but I thought Norv called plays for some or all of Cam's tenure as OC.
