Really dumb. Even if Pierce misses that shot the ball might bounce around the rim or a fight for the rebound would occur and the clock would have ran out. Coaching 101: extend the game as much as possible when you are losing.

CP3 isnt leaving. He has made a very shitty team into a very good team. Honestly they are pretty stacked when everyone is at full health. They have 4 guards that would start on most teams (Paul, Crawford, Bledsoe, and Billups.) and a stout center\PF combo of deandre and griffin and then some very good veterans like Odom, Grant Hill, and Caron Butler. They stacked!! But their coach is worthless!!
