He INHERITED LT, Harry Carson, and Phil Simms.
It's interesting how he gets credit for that quote, but he won ZERO Super Bowls without George Young putting his best teams together.
Of all the people who were HOF finalists, he was CLEARLY the least deserving. If he is such a great personnel guy, why did he suck so badly when he tried to run the show in Dallas and Miami?

I'm to young to know anything about his NY days, but he certainly stole the Dolphins money

Cris Carter is the right answer.
Go deep throat a shotgun.

Let me help youngsters. 2 Super Bowl rings is sometimes enough. He then took over a god awful patriots team that sucked forever except 1985. Then took over the jets. Who were worse.

oh yeah, I forgot that the Giants were a powerhouse when Parcells took over. All of those players were just kicking arse and taking names...

You are correct sir. And back to the jets. They SUCKED. They were hopeless. He had them poised. Had testaverde looking like a stud. Testaverde's Achilles cost them a legit deep run or SB trip.
And then the Cowboys. Mentored Payton as well. Made Q. Carter look serviceable.

frick that if you are gonna troll do it right-
The Big Tuna never coached in a Super Bowl without Belichick on his coaching staff. In fact, Parcells coached seven seasons in the NFL without Belichick on the coaching staff — three in New England and four in Dallas. Parcells’ record in those seven seasons was 55-57 in the regular season and 0-3 in the postseason.

You were going so strong but then you did this:

This guy brought the Jets to relevance. Brought the Cowboys to relevance during a shite period and need I remind you, was there for the emergence of Romo.
His coaching tree extends far and long....Sean Payton, Bill Belichick, you could even argue Nick Saban...I could go on but I don't have to.
Just an incredible motivator, scout, and innovator. Was never afraid of the game. Always adapted. Great fricking coach.

Also...He inherited a Dallas team that was 5-11 three years in a row and brought them to 10-6 the next year.
Guy is a fricking football genius. only a troll or tool would think otherwise.
