The NFL needs to ditch the current Super Bowl logo style

Used to be a new logo every year, but for the past 3 or 4 it's been the exact same with just a change to the number. At least this year they added the Dome I guess.

What's going to look weird is when it gets to Super Bowl L. They'll have to change it.

It's a small thing but subconsciously for alot of people it diminishes the impact of the game. I don't know what dodo marketing genius came up with this.
Every Super Bowl was unique and memorable. Now it's just a bland number assigned to a mere continuation of the same game being played every year.

Maybe a bit of hyperbole, but big picture the NFL will start to see declining revenue and this is 1 of 537384848 reasons why

I kige this. One of many idiotic things Goofdell has done.
The old logos had a nice local flavor and were unique. Super Bowl IX was the best logo ever.
Making it the same every year is just lame.

Someone should photoshop the superbowl L logo with a big L as the last letter of the word superbowl, if it sticks its my idea....and props to who ever shops it

Every year there are 2 versions of the silver logo, one with the stadium that is hosting the game and one without. So them adding the Superdome this year is nothing new, just keeping with the league-mandated brand.

It seems like what they're doing, though, is having the Lombardi Trophy logos but also have a more localized logo. This is the one they're using this year. I like it. It's simple but easily recognizable as a New Orleans Super Bowl without the "New Orleans" text.
