I just got one a few weeks ago so it's not overdone to me. I'm also a sucker for sentiment. When my husband picks out a charm for me I think it's incredibly sweet. My whole bracelet is full of wonderful stories from HIS point of view. It's beautiful to me :) I also have never cared what anyone else thought. Maybe that's why I don't care if its "in style" or not. Eta, pearls are always a safe bet. Every girl needs a nice set of pearls.

I feel that way too about mine. Every charm was given to me by someone I care about.

Thanks Paige. I just wanted to get as many of the LLotOT's opinions as possible then start dwindling down the options.

I got her an expensive set of pearls last purchase. She was really happy about those.

i certainly don't mean to offend you if you like them... i love that you and your hubs have a whole little thing together bc of it. just not my style, but to each her own ETA: prob going to put my foot in mouth again on this, but it always seems like the same people i know go for those go bonkers over a c-print coach purse or any other overpriced-for-their-income thing. NOT saying you do. speaking about the lamers i know.

I just swapped texts with her best friend. She's going to hook me up with on my scheme. Her response was "Oh you know how picky that girl is about jewelry?"

Oh I'm not offended I just wanted to give the guy debating the bracelet both sides of the opinion so he could make a decision. If his wife isn't into all that lovey-dovey stuff she may think its cheesy.

My mom has one and hers is very classy looking, because of the charms she has. Mine is definitely more childish looking but I like my cheesy cupcake and Cinderella coach.

At this point in her life she is. 10 years ago she wasn't so I think it has to be right for the lady.

The difference between Pandora and some of the off brands is what they are made of. Pandora is sterling while the cheaper ones are silver plated, that's why they are 6 dollars. I have a Pandora that I like. I don't like the silly charms, but perfer the Italian colored glass ones. JMO

I got my mom one a few years back. I think she wears out, she loved it when I gave it to her.

I wouldn't wear a Pandora bracelet, either. I'm not knocking the ladies who do. I like that they appreciate the stories behind the charms. I just don't like to wear mass production jewlery that "everybody" has and is sold everywhere. I would prefer a piece that is more individual.
