Caddying for a buddy at a PGA Tour event. Caddied in the same group as Jack Nicklaus at English Turn in 1991. He bummed a Marlboro Light off me.

They had some NBA sponsored event when I was on vacation in Florida with a bunch of games you could play and shite. There was a 3pt shootout game with rewards based on how many you make. You get 45secs. I went 10 for 11 and got a free Hornets jersey with my last name on the back and a badass NBA duffel bag with my name on it

Stromile Swift picked me out of the crowd in Fayetteville when I was about 7 years to shoot around before a game. That's all I've got.

Oh, and I was at the Joe Horn cellphone game, and I shite you not, I noticed him put something under the goalpost padding during pregame, and pointed it out to my dad.

Awesome guy. I saw him at Q school in Panama City about 12 or so years later and we passed each other in the clubhouse. Ended up sitting at the table next to Mr. Nicklaus and his son. He gave me one of those looks like we had met before. Anyway, he invites me to sit down and he said "you were caddying in my group years ago, right.?" I said yes sir. He then asked me if I continued playing after I got out of college. Just as normal and nice a guy as you would everr want to meet.

After the 2011 BCSNC, we saw and got pictures with a lot of famous people on Bourbon, including Scott van Pelt.
Fast forward about 4 hours of partying, it's nearly 5am, and my fiancee and I are walking back to the hotel several blocks from the French Quarter. SVP chases us down, hammered drunk, and tries to get us to help him find his hotel. He's cussing and yelling and being obnoxious and we just want to go home. This continues for about 10 minutes, he's just tagging along like an awkward third wheel.
Eventually we had to just tell SVP to leave us alone.

At the MLB all star game in PNC Park a few years back, I was in the schmooze suite with all types of celbritards. Collectively, they all gave not one sh#t what was happening on the field...except one oldtimer leaning at the window-quietly taking in the action. I sideled up by the dude respectfully to watch alongside and ended up having a great and unforgettable baseball chat with Buck O'Neil.

USL vs Okie State in Stillwater , 1997
My best friend and I were both walk ons. He was a 5'4 barefoot kicker who wore number 99. He was allowed to travel for 1 away game our senior year. He was frequently ridiculed the whole game by the nearby student section due to his slight stature and very Cajun last name on his jersey.
Late in the game he petetioned our coach to let him attempt a field goal (game was well out hand at that point). He trotted out and nailed a 40 something yarder. The Okie State home side erupted. He made a pass through the student section hanging over the sides to high five them all as they now chanted his name. I sat next to him prior to our departure on our flight to hear the local commentators discussing the events and how all around great that scene was for college football.

I saw Barry Sanders' last game in the Superdome. He always will be my favorite NFL player of all time. That was pretty special for me.

i have two
1) my freshman year in high school (2008) i went to the UCLA/USC bball game at the galen center with some buddies. USC upset UCLA at pauley earlier and UCLA entered this game ranked 4th in the country iirc. we sat 2 rows from the court and USC was winning by 2 with like 4 mins left and i shouted "we cant let these frickers win again" as darren collison was passing by. as he passed by, he looked at me and gave me a nod and proceeded to lead the bruins to a 8 pt victory iirc. as UCLA walked off the court, darren went over to kevin love, said something to him, and they both just looked at me, pointed at me, and nodded their heads
2) arrived early to game 2 of the 2010 nba finals, i mean i was like the 3rd person to get to their seats at staples, and my seats were under magic johnson box. i looked up and saw magic so i shouted "hey magic" he looked down and replied back and we spoke for like 20 mins about what we were expecting from the game
