Being a little drunk and running very late, grabbed the trimmers to clean it up with out looking to make sure the guard was on there. Tried to blend it in with the really short setting but was no use. I wanted to

Why not.
This is brushed out while wet. It usually gets slicked down and has a much neater appearance. I want to shave but I can't bring myself to actually do it.

i'm 41 yrs old and couldn't grow a beard if i tried. made an attempt once and i locked like a dog with mange, bald spots everywhere.

It was 75 in BR today I typically shave mine once every week or two. I don't care if I have one or not, but I have to go places where a beard is not kosher sometimes so it gets chopped
