I don't think our society is morally bankrupt as a whole. I think there are certain subcultures that would qualify. An example would be the urban/ghetto culture or the "Hollywood" culture.
What bothers me more than any of this is how a large portion of our society is completely self absorbed. I have always tried to be outwardly focus towards my fellow man even if i fail sometimes. Our culture seems to be celebrating the inwardly focused more and more.

It means a sea change in the nature of society as the norm of America, especially in the present day. Take a gander at what was considered the norms of society 50-60 odd years ago. There was accepted structure across the majority of the nation. Afterwards American society has washed itself in all things "moral" being relative as the framers of thought adopted a form of norms with a sense of ideas of morals along with the scientific principles of Einstien and physics, there in no longer an absolute to measure the notion against. The idea of moral relativism has gotten to the point that no one raises an eyebrow over the countless murders or partial birth abortions as being sickening or abhorrent at all. The baby has been thrown out with the bath water without a thought to that fact being given shrift at all.

Because, from my experience, they are generally ostracized for being pregnant. It's not something that gets celebrated.
The thing is teenage birth rates have declined since the 50s, which is hte funny part of his diatribe.
He is right that less women are married. If we just opened their car door for them, they wouldn't get tats and give blow jobs. Wait, do we win in that scenario?

I completely agree with this. The social acceptability for having kids out of wedlock is a real economic issue. It causes all sorts of problems for the state and its residents, plus kids born out of wedlock are put at a real disadvantage in ultra competitive workforce.
I wouldn't say this is moral bankruptcy though. I think that term is complete load of horse shite. Acceptable morals change over time and culture. ours are changing. We have a gap between the law and what is morally acceptable, that needs to be changed IMHO.
But crime rates are down, if anything we are less morally bankrupt.

I haven't seen a stat on that, so I am unsure.
Abortion availability has a great deal to do with the lower birth rate, I would think.
I would imagine there are fewer births, and more pregnancies. As a teacher, I can honestly say that kids are more active at younger ages than at any point since I have been alive.

I love threads like this...because the in the 50s we were awash in morals.
The difference is girls would vanish from school for 8 months when accidents happen now...we don't kick them out because they got pregnant.
