8 over a myriad of decades and HCs..

7 in a row for Wooden and 10 of 12..with a Harrick title due to NCAA Gestapos and UNLV Pres Maxson sending O Bannon Bros to UCLA and Glen Robinson to Purdue, where all three were set to continue Tark's post Augmon and Larry Johnson era dominance.

Ky Hoops, Bama Foots, Celts, Lakers, Yanks, Cardinals,etc..consistently great decade after decade..

Wooden's UCLA, Miami Cane Foots, Big Red Machine, Finley's A's, Turner/Schureholz Braves, Krause Bulls,etc..very era specific.

So those 7 titles out class that entire list that the UK fan put on here?

I don't think so

You don't understand the use of the term "all time" do you?

I didn't see anyone argue that UCLA had an unbelievable 12 year run, but 12 years does not "all time" make.

You sound like you have a vendetta against UCLA and are trying way to hard to try and convince folks it's Kentucky.

Two titles in the 40's
Two titles in the 50's
Zero in the 60's
One in the 70's
Zero in the 80's
Two in the 90's
Zero in the 2000
One this decade...

Doesn't trump...

Titles - 1964, 1965, 1967, 1968, 1969, 1970, 1971, 1972, 1973, 1975, 1995

Runner-up - 1980, 2006

...and at least 1 Final Four every decade since the 60's.

I guess YOU don't understand what it would take to win 7[SEVEN ]Titles in a row.THINK ABOUT how hard that would be under ANY circumstance.

I think UK has a great history.. BUT LOOK at what UCLA DID............. Its amazing. NOTHING UK has done can compare.

I despise Kentucky bball with a passion...

But ALL-TIME... they're the best. UCLA has a valid argument for #1, and undoubtedly had the greatest run/dynasty of all-time. But Kentucky's success over a sustained period of time makes them the best.

Excuse me while I vomit.

Some tradition before that too. Dick Groat was a great two-sport star and made it to both the majors and the NBA. The Pirates ended up asking him to focus on baseball full time.

Would it make you feel any better if I said the same thing about Florida football?
