Him being surrounded by better players means that teams won't focus only on him in the post like they do now. He won't get doubled as much and probably won't force as much on offense. Combine that with another year of experience and he gets drafted IMO

Just because he was a Mcdonalds All American doesn't mean he will get drafted. Look at Tasmin Mitchell. He'll Big Baby lasted til round 2 and he was a hell of a lot better than JOB.

With 3 incoming All-American forwards including a 5 star who will be stealing all of the pub and a lot of shots staying might be risky.

The opposite of this actually.

Perhaps someone should look where Justin Hamilton is playing... People drafted in the 2nd round of the NBA draft do not have to be signed to contracts. Even if JOBIII gets drafted no one will sign him... he will end up in Europe or D-League.

He's really soild. People hate on him because he had some bad games while he was coming back from an injury.

It's good to see I was the voice of reason in a sea of hate earlier this season.

SFP was pretty solid in this thread.

He will. I didn't bump this saying he'll get drafted high or anything. I bumped it because of people saying he can't do anything offensively. The man was playing hurt.

Funny going back and reading some of the responses.

It's not like he is flying up draft boards though. He's still a 2nd round pick. Late 1st at best.

He is playing a lot better lately. You can tell he's much more healthy by the way he is crashing the glass on both ends of the floor now compared to earlier in the season.

If he came out? I'm thinking late first rounder

Both Glen Davis and Brandon Bass were 2nd round picks. Both had better skills than JOB at this point in their careers. I see no better than a 2nd round pick for JOB if he came out this year.

6'9 guys are a dime a dozen in the NBA. He doesn't have great hops, so he has to develop more offense skills to play PF in the NBA.

Don't know his family's financial situation. That always play a part in these decisions. I'd like to see him hang around another year and move up in 2014 draft. But if he needs the money, he's gone.

I can guarantee he is a legit 6'9. If you want proof I will post it.

I thought the same thing about Hamilton. No one had him getting drafted, but he did, in the second round.

Hamilton is playing on some Euro team now. Second rounders in the NBA don't have to be signed to contracts. JOB may get drafted but no NBA team would sign him to a deal. At least not yet, but if he came back for another season....

He's a comer for sure. I think he might he slip to second round. NBA always drafts on potential,he has a chance to be a good lowpost presense in the league. Three weeks ago I would have said undrafted.......His mom and aunt sit right behind me everything points to him leaving regardlless.
