Cowherd is the best. Why do they continue to allow someone who doesn't watch sports, the ability to use this platform?

Cowherd is stupid for saying Jordan didn't win an NCAA title considering how many times that little corner jumper he hit has been shown, but he has a point about Lebron being as good or better than Jordan as a player.

When Lebron James gets the flu before the most critical game of the NBA Finals, decides to play through it despite his temperature being north of 102 degrees, and is the game's MVP.....let me know.

Good Lord I thought I only disagreed with you on every political thought that comes into your head, but now you come up with this little gem. You can't be serious

As an overall player LeBron is the best and debate about that is really getting old

MJ was the greatest uber competitive killer/clutch/closer player probably to ever play the game and only Kobe slightly compares.

MJ knocked out his college roomate over a game of chess

But LeBron is one of if not the best Athletes on the planet

I'm sure he could pick up a bat and get in a lineup and dominate the outfield easily in the MLB

He could throw the pads on and catch a TD in the superbowl next week.

If LeBron ends up with 4.5 rings is that not good enough?

Sure I am serious. In fact, I personally think Lebron is a BETTER basketball player right now, today, than Jordan ever was his entire career.

If I was an NBA owner and had to pick Lebron or Jordan to put on my team (all else being equal and both in their prime), I would take Lebron.

How do you figure?

Jordan was the better shooter and the better defender. They are pretty much even in terms of attacking the rim.

The only thing that Lebron is probably better than Jordan at is passing, but Jordan was no slouch there.

Lebron is a better defender and by a good bit. No way Jordan could hope to defend all 5 positions like Lebron can and does.

Shooting is pretty close. Yes Jordan did have the best mid range jumper the game has ever seen, but he was a poor 3 point shooter until late in his career. Lebron is not as good in the mid-range game, better 3 point shooter, and a better post game. I'll call scoring a wash.

Lebron better defender, passer, rebounder.

Scoring is a wash.

Therefore, Lebron is a better player IMO.

Jordan has won NBA Defensive Player of the Year, while Lebron has not. I'm gonna disagree with you there. Jordan was a VERY good defender.

Shooting is pretty close.

Eh, not that close. Especially late in his career, Jordan had a killer jump shot. He was pretty much unstoppable once he developed it. Lebron has not developed those shots with consistency.

Maybe he will, but he hasn't yet.

rebounder

Lebron is probably better at this, yes.

I've got:

Jordan: Defending, shooting
Lebron: Passing, rebounding

Scoring is a wash.

No he couldn't. That is so fricking retarded. You know how huge his strike zone would be? Michael at least had some baseball and golf background and he still kind of sucked.

and 6'6" Michael frickING Jordan, his airness, couldn't do that?

Lebron just doesn't have "IT". He has tangibles, but weak intangibles. You need both to be considered GOAT. I'm not a ring counter either.
