Not very recent, but a great show is Spaced. If you haven't seen it, get it now. Simon Pegg's creation and the show that launched him.

Refresh my memory...what exactly was that scene?

I'm assuming he's talking about Harry in front of the rememberance wall listing all the former agents lost in the line of duty.

That was one of the last scenes of the last episode right? Right before Tom makes his reappearance??

I am losing my memory bad.

SPOILER ALERT FOR THOSE WHO HAVEN'T SEEN MI-5:

The last episode of the next-to-last season ended with Richard Armitage's character taking the plunge. I hated how the writers fricked him up.

The very last scene of the series is Tom Quinn making an appearance as an assassin.

Ok...I kinda thought he was referring to that...just wasn't sure.

That thru me for a loop as well. But I loved it, really. Intense as hell.

The last scene with Tom was awesome as well.
I liked him and the crew in the first 3 seasons the best. Especially Zoe. Damn she was hott.

I kind of liked Ros and Adam the best. Once they left the show went downhill a little. I liked Lucas but as the previous poster said, they kind of ruined his character the second to last season.

Yeah, the first three seasons rocked. But damn, Tom Quinn went through some shite, didn't he? That show was very intense at times. A little TOO intense for me...but like witnessing a car wreck, I just had to keep watching. Just couldn't stop watching.

The episode about the imam and the mosque with the boy bomber was jarring and opened my eyes more to the world of terrorism. Scarey shite.

I liked Lucas too, but I see what the writers were trying to do by making him an anti-hero.
As opposed to Tom and Adam, who were a little too perfect.

I liked the comraderie between Tom, Zoe and Danny. And the way they delved into their personal lives as well as the "crisis of the week" stuff.

Oh and...Malcolm and Colin were the shite. Unsung heroes.

Oh, that pissed me off. He had more potential than what they gave him! I really liked his character.

Harry Pearce. I'll bet it'd be a motherfricker working for a real-life Harry Pearce. You have to be a hard person. And I couldn't imagine having his job...

A Touch of Frost...like a CBS show...
The Inbetweeners was good for a few episodes...got old for me, though.
If you can find HEX, the first season was good.

Wire in the Blood was VERY good. Also liked the original Touching Evil. HEX was a fun ride. You're right about them ruining it after the first season.

Jo Portman FTW (although they fricked up her hair in season 4 or 5).
