The little bastard has elevated himself on top of the ball. Hazard's foot stays ground level and flat when he kicks. Hazard is obviouly trying to punch the ball out. If he was aiming for his ribs, the kid would have left in an ambulance.

I still say: "why was the ball on the other side of him if Hazard completely missed? I know he hit the kid, but 1) he asked for it 2) No, Hazard shouldn't have done it. I just think it's unfair to lay all the blame on Hazard.

It looks to me like the ball was already on the other side of the kid when Hazard kicks him. In the gif I can't see the ball at all where Hazard is kicking.

So bizarre, but I fail to see where any discussion is needed. As a player you just have to depend on the refs to see it and add time, there is no other option.
