I'm told..."just wait til you have kids"

and I'm not supposed to "judge people"

so have no expectations or judgments and you will have no problems.

It's really that easy.....no laws, no criminals.

I've noticed this happens a lot in the matinee movies. There was a kid that was probably 6 or 7 when I went to see Django. I didn't judge the parents. I was like damn I wish my mom and dad were that cool when I was a kid.

I'm a parent and trust me, the thought of a toddler in Django doesn't even enter the stratosphere of a sane parent

So the child didn't make any noise, and you still complained?

Wow.

Stop trying to raise other people's children. My parents did not censor my movie watching at all--other than porn. It's not that big of a deal. I can remember watching Terminator and Predator with my Dad when I was 5 and 6 years old--not the watered down edited-for-tv version.

And the likelihood of the toddler remembering anything is minimal, so you really have no argument at all.

Personally, I wouldn't bring a child to a movie theater because they are annoying little bastards. but if the child is well behaved, who gives a shite?

I went to see Ted and The Campaign and people brought kids in that we're probably younger than 6. Both sets of parents exited pretty much right after the opening credits.

You sure it wasn't a little person? Or maybe a gifted child with a mind more advanced than your own.

the thought of bringing my toddler to any movie, unless it's for kids, is my worst nightmare. He'd behave for about 5 minutes, maybe.

It's pretty simple. Toddlers are sponges. Who wants their child watching these movies then coming out saying words like "F**K!!" Or "N****R!," ?

Very true. But, any parent who would take their child to Django probably spews those words every 30 seconds at home anyway.

there should be child free viewings of ALL movies.

this goes along with my idea for the smoking section at restaurants, make them no kids zones, since you cant smoke on earth anymore

My biggest problem is teens who try to be obnoxious just for the sake of annoying people.
