That's strange I thought of that very play. For some reason of all of the games I've been to, that one always floats to the top for me. It was such a significant time for LSU football and everyone was wondering if we could really vault into the bigtime. I'll never forget how loud it was and how much hate we had for AU back then.
Hard to believe it was over ten years ago.

The LaRon Landry hit and Ryan Baker hit were good especially being in the student section.
But the one that sticks out to me is sitting in the North Endzone my first year after graduating in 2010 against ULM and some poor guy got absolutely wiped out on a punt return. Any remember that, the guy got hurt too I believe.

There are a lot that come to mind but for me it would have to be Chad Jones blowing up Joe Adams in '09. When Adams' helmet goes flying one way, something else went flying the other way, and he was laying on his face in the south endzone, my jaw was on the ground.
Close runner ups are LaRon's hits on JPW and Brodie Croyle and Jarvis Landry blowing up McCalebb a couple season's ago.
That Chad Jones one was the only one I can remember where I was literally speechless for a few seconds.

Does anyone remember the hit against ULM I think it was Jai Eugene maybe or someone, it was on a Punt return and the guy from LSU just destroyed the poor ULM kid, he had to be walked off the field?

You sure it was ULM? I don't remember us playing them when Jai Eugene was there.
I could be wrong though.
One hit I saw on TV that made me go "HOLY CRAP" was the block LaFell laid on Zach Smith when we played Moo State in early '07.
Flynn scrambled and pointed as if to say, "block that guy," and ZS ran into LaFell's shoulder like he hit a concrete pillar underneath an interstate overpass. He folded up like a chair.

Yeah we played them in 2010, Patrick Peterson had an epic coast to coast INT that he almost scored on and Ron Brooks had a pick six, but man if anyone can find it, that hit was brutal all 80,000(it was ULM lol) went oooohhhhh and felt bad for the kid.
