I'm picking up the mocha. It's something else lingering I can't figure out. It is getting better as it warms (as I'd expect).
ETA: I think I'm getting a little hint of licorice, which I can't stand (candy from childhood, Jaeger from a few rounds I lost over the years)

I got a Double Crooked Tree IPA from my Chicago buddy a few months ago. Damn thing was pretty much a barleywine at 12.5% or so.
