Just because you dont trust him doesnt mean he wants to take all your guns.

If someone is intent on concentrating power with a certain authority, who in the past has shown a proclivity to intervene in the most personal choices a person or institution makes, i.e. health care, religious freedom,if that person has stated that the way to attain certain behavior is to make a behavior so expensive that it will be destroyed-coal fired plants, I'll have to be prepared that that person has no qualms about abusing and curtailing other freedoms.

We all make judgements and decisions every day. We make them based on instinct or/and experience of someone's prior behavior.

I've stayed away from certain people, not because they've hurt me before, but because by judging their past behavior I can pretty much surmise whether or not their future actions are to my detriment.

And more often than not, I'm right.

re: The NRA...

Read again exactly what you just said. Sounds stupid, right?

NRA does not sell guns. NRA sometimes gets donations from gun makers if they chose to do so. Guns being sold =/= NRA gaining membership. I can go buy 100 guns and not join the NRA.

Actually you missed the point about the NRA automatically gaining access to gun owners when a sell is made. Guns being sold does in fact help the NRA gain members. Just because you do not join doesn't mean others won't when they get mail the next week. Either way, I don't understand why you are so adamant about trying to prove my wrong when the data supports my points but whatevaaaa

5 years?

Try the past 2 to 3 months. I don't keep up with their respective stocks, but I would think they are quite healthy now that the crisis is averted for the moment and considering their sales recently. They may be the most healthy companies in America at the moment.

No, try the last 5 years. Recent sales are unbelievable but before he was inaugurated guns were flying off the shelves. Also, the executive orders are weak sauce. It's all PR but people freak out about any type of new gun law. I mean, can someone tell me anything devastating about his executive orders?
