I heard that most of the boosters and the AD strongly dislike Kelly at Oregon. So I imagine they are glad he's gone. They'll enjoy loosing more I guess.

Yeah wasn't that the story a week or two ago? Must have been some truth to it. Oregon pretty much has to throw the bank at petersen now.

Well when they fire him in 3 yrs and LSU fires Miles he can be the HC.
I just don't think he will be a good NFL coach.

I can still remember when he was hired at UO from UNH and now the guy is an NFL HC. Incredible.

Here's some educated guesses to some questions in this thread:
-Vick is gone. Other than the fact he can run doesn't fit Kelly (not a good decision maker, turnover prone).
-Kelly won't run the same offense as he does at Oregon. It'll be more in line with what Wash/Car./SF do. But in the NFL you gotta protect the QB because that's the franchise generally.
-Kelly's main goal is to spread the field and make you defend it all.
Interested to see what he does at QB. Foles could be serviceable, don't see long term fit.
A guy like A. Smith makes sense but he's not dynamic.
Nothing much in this class. Tajh Boyd would have made it interesting.
