Chris Mortensen ?@mortreport
Chip Kelly is the new coach of the Philadelphia Eagles, according to league sources. No announcement yet.

Sucks for Oregon, PAC 12 and CFB in general.

Kind of shitty too, IMO. Waiting this late to decide and leaving Oregon with a limited pool to choose from.

Puts Oregon in a bad spot in regards to timing. And if they go after someone like Peterson, puts Boise in an even worse spot.

I understand Kelly has to do what is in his best interest.. but waiting this long absolutely screws Oregon.

What motivates a person to leave a place where he has everything he wants to go somewhere that he could be fired if he doesn't make the playoffs one year?

Is the money that much more?

Wow! Their mission for the search must have been simple: hire a guy with a last name of Kelly. They courted Brian Kelly and got Chip Kelly.
