I am referring to the law that MLK championed.
If you were talking about the 3/5th compromise, I'll tell you like I tell my students: You should thank sweet baby Jesus for that compromise. . .otherwise the South would have been so well represented, that there would never have been a single free state added to the Union.

I read the entire thread and you are backing up the statement that violent crimes in the black community are unapproachable by the white community.
Every culture has its problems, but turning around and saying "worry about your own problems" will not fix the underlying issues.
Maybe the "men" you are talking about should know when to ask for and accept help from everyone, regardless of color.

You shouldn't. But you do.
It draws a reaction, meaning you care.
If you and your family are hardworking, you are probably much more successful than the average ghetto black. But I only have your word to go on. . .your definition of "hardworking" may be "has a job". Not declaring anything about you, just pointing out a lack of baseline.

I didn't know any of those things were strictly white vices, there are black ministers that get arrested for child abuse and probably priests, there are black meth users usually gay or on the down low, but clearly priests and white meth users have been stereotyped, commented upon in the media and general society in a negative manner; child molesters are really not race specific Black preteen birth rates and abortion rates make that pretty clear.
