and then buy the same ones back after the new legislation passes. They aren't going to ban them so you might as well sell your AR-15s for $2500 and buy the same gun back in a month for $1000.

P.S. dont sell your magazines

Am I the only one thinking that if I bought something for $2500 that was obviously marked up, that there is no way I would turn around and try to sell it back, for any amount?

I would just eat that investment and wait for the next crisis

My only concern is will I be able to find another AR minus the paper trail down the road? I'd sell it right now if I was confident I could find another w/o registration

Alright.....I didn't know if people were doing it already. Maybe I am slow but I just thought of it this morning and thought I would share.

I don't think they'll do anything on magazines.

In wasn't trying to be a dick. My b. I think I'm just getting tired of reading about assault weapons this and that. Maybe I need a break from reading the OB for a while

I came close to selling all of my assault killing rifles but the price never got quite high enough. I could always use extra money but I am not hard up for it right now. I would need 3-4x what I originally paid for them, plus the accessories.

I want to personally thank you for putting that in quotes. I was about to be irritated until I saw that you were jokingly referring to AR and AK variants...

Me too.

Even though I would love a profit, I would feel like a douche ripping off another fellow gun buyer. I have too much integrity to take advantage of someone else without them realizing that there is little chance of something passing (at least in my estimations ).

Where all are you guys listing? Is gunbroker the best place or is there a better website for idiots prepared to pay. I wasnt going to sell my two but I dont believe they will ban and I could buy several more in about 6 months so why not.

I don't know if people are still paying $2500 for basic bushmasters or M&P's... There's a couple that have been on bayoushooter for a couple days and not moving.

Yea, I'd kinda feel bad if I was listing my stuff intentional 300% higher than what I paid, just to get a profit. However, listing on GB and letting idiots bid up the price...I don't feel bad since they are doing it themselves
