He was getting pushed around and when he did break through, Wilson just stepped up or rushed out of the pocket and made plays. Against another QB that would've been big but Wilson feels pressure well and every time he was flushed out did something positive.

He was a non factor an that's not me hating on the falcons, it's the truth.

I do think he is a bigger factor in this upcoming game

no i can respect that and i don't think you are just hating on the falcons, i just think our pass rush will be the difference in the game... even against a freak athlete like Kaepernick who can escape pressure, you have to make it tough on him...

Kaepernick had a great game, but it's not as though the Packers' D was elite. They ranked 22nd in total yards this year.

i saw

49'ers 31

Falcons 24

curious to see how Ryan reacts to 49'ers D. I thnk they rattle him to the point where he folds. They score late to make it look closer than it appears.

Kaepernick is intriguing, he didnt seem rattled at all. But for some reason in the back of my head I dont totally trust him....But i think that comes in the SB. I think he'll make out alright against ATL. Great matchup for him

well this board was under the impression that SEA was the worst matchup for ATL so what does that say about SF?

I believe you were the only NO fan to pick us.

That is more so for everyone else.

but i think as a whole the 49'ers D is more well rounded. Their front 7 is on another level than SEA

They have looked great at a lot of points this season. They have also looked awful at times. It really just depends who shows up. These prediction threads are pointless.

They were 11th in points allowed with 21.0/game and 4th in sacks with 47.

they've beaten Green Bay twice, New Orleans, and New England.....All on the road except for the playoff game vs GB...

their D just gets it done. ATL is in trouble. They wont be able to run at all IMO

They also got destroyed by NYG and SEA, I don't need to tell you how the Falcons did against them.

The most overwhelming stat that supports either team is probably ATLs home field record under Ryan/Smith.

You can spin anything.

We haven't been able to run all season and suddenly looked awesome yesterday.

What I'm saying is that neither you nor I have a damn clue what will happen next Sunday. We can sit here and give meaningless reasons bc it's a message board but in the end it really amounts to who shows up on Sunday.

I actually completely agree with this. I honestly think that teams like Saints, Pats, Packers are the worst matchups for Falcons as a whole. They have had trouble the past few years stopping spread out passing games.

one thing is for sure. The 49ers D is way better than the dirty birds. I doubt the dirty birds can score what we scored on frisco in the playoffs last year.

Seeing as how this ite is mainly made up of LSU and saints fans, its not surprising that most are going with the niners.

This game is going to be the loudest the ga dome has been all year. The niners showed they can be scored on big time in their loss to the Seahawks and their win vs greenbay.

Atlanta has proven everyone wrong all year with the bs talk of them being a fluke, and a pretender. They will prove everyone wrong once again.

Oh and the falcons can limit big yards from running qbs as proven vs Seattle.

Kapernick is going to have a long day.

DAMN RIGHT

Georgia Dome is going to be insane Sunday and the 49ers got destroyed last time they played on the road.

Falcons 31
49ers 17
