Kroll is good in the league because of his deadpan delivery, which also makes him bad as a comic. You have to be great to pull off the deadpan.

I'm not surprised that it was bad. I like Nick Kroll. I like him when he goes on podcasts and stuff. I only like two of his characters though and even they get annoying very quick. I remember being excited for his stand up special and I couldn't even watch it for fifteen minutes before I got bored and annoyed.

Ruxin might be my favorite character on The League but The Kroll Show was the biggest piece of shite I've EVER seen.
Wheels Ontario was the only skit that was even close to being funny. Not even Rafi could save that "Sex in the City for Dudes" sketch.

I caught the Wheels Ontario skit and changed the channel just now. Seems a lot like that show the gay dude from Reno 911 had once.

So it re-ran last night... I got through the first 4 skits without cracking a smile.
Show is fricking horrible. Now way it makes it passed 3 episodes before the pull it.
How did that shite make it through ANY focus group.

After seeing the first 10 minutes of his stand-up, I've seen 10 minutes too much of Nick Kroll outside of The League.

Yup... Thats the only thing he should be doing.
Now I would love to see John Lajoie have a show... Dude is funny as frick, especially the Mr McGibblets bit he did on the xtras.
