He is a good prospect. Probably a great prospect. First rounder? I'm not going to admit that about anyone this early. And you're right. I want all LA guys to stay home. So him leaving makes me salty... Oh well.

Last I hear he is heading to Tuscaloosa today, then to FSU, then to Miami, then to LSU in the coming weeks. He is not committing until near NSD.

Other than the similarity to Mingo, I'm not convinced he plays at such a dominant level in the SEC.

I'm convinced. I saw him in the all-star game, and he looked very good. He probably should go somewhere like Bama where they play the 3-4, though.

I know it will sting alittle if he doesn't stay home but admit that kid is a good prsopect and with teh right grooming could be abeats and future first rounder. bottomline.

He may be a first rounder one day but he comes with baggage. This is why lsu stopped recruiting him. He reached back out to lsu recently which is a great sign. My bama buddy says he's not a take for them.

Please elaborate on this baggage you speak of, and please let us know how you know about it.

I bet everyone would go bananas if we get TW.

I would, if he takes care of business he will be better than Mingo or Montgomery, just my opinion.

I think he'll be at LSU. We're gonna miss on most, if not all, of our remaining targets and make a late push. He is leaning our way anyway according to the news lately.

At this point Miami is the only school on his visit list recruiting him as a take. For Bama, he's not a take, both for numbers and they have seen the same "issues" that the LSU staff has.(that's from their people so no matter what the issues are, there definitely seem to be some issues that are out there concerning him; what they are and how they're so obvious is beyond me). For FSU, different philosophy and different eyes plus Walker committing pushes him out. For LSU, it's just a matter of us not pressing, at the moment.

So if the issues are so great that you have major programs pulling back, then why are we still kinda, sorta "in?" Those issues must be really big to not have room for #3 DE (per Rivals) in the country.

What am I missing?

He is built a lot like kiki mingo. Tall, slim and very fast for a DE/OLB hybrid.

I think he will grow to into a very similar player like kiki

Thanks for trying (again) G to correct all the misinformation some keep spreading about Tim. So amazing that those if us much closer to the program continue to debunk the rumors yet they keep popping up. And Mike S is to blame for a lot of it.

If Les is able to put Tim in P&G, we will be getting a good one, and I hope everyone will be as excited as we should be.

I imagine your reaction similar to this before posting this info.
