The "death panel" bull shite is so demeaning to the conservatives who employ the term. First of all, every person should have a "living will" or of medical power of attorney. Pull the fricking plug when you're in a coma or only kept alive by extraordinary measures. For chrissake, my very conservative mother and my conservative in-laws were wise enough to take that simple step.
Further, I can't remember the numbers right now, but the money spent on comatose, terminal patients without either of those documents or relatives who can't make a decision is astronomical. And it's insane. It's criminal.

Yet we spend a million on sex-change surgeries for criminals who murder their spouses, because it is now considered a necessity to their health and well being.
We spend millions keeping alive people murderers and that is criminal.
There are people that do come out of comas.

Things like this expose the evil that resides in the heart of mankind. When Roe vs Wade was decided the voices of many, many people said that it would lead to euthanizing people in the future. Congratulations to the choice crowd you have made that little prophetic idea come to fruition. Killing of the innocent and the elderly is the "new norm" for the main of "civilized" nations.
