OK, I give up

I saw this "new bill of rights" posted on a message board that is 99% leftist, and the thread was basically the polar opposite of this thread.

There were a bunch of liberals agreeing and saying that it's what we need, and even some suggesting to go further.

Then the one conservative voice comes into the thread and tries to explain why it won't work and why its stupid, and he gets attacked from all angles like a bunch of angry lions fighting over a zebra carcass.

I posted it here so I could see what it would be like to see this stupid idea ripped to shreds because I wasn't seeing it on that thread.

It's quite easy to garner a lot of pages while trolling. Look at my preexisting condition thread.

The idea is that you don't have to work

So, if nobody is working, where does the government get all of the tax revenue required to provide all of these "rights" ?

You understand that this is not how people work on many different levels.

If someone works harder, they should get rewarded more, don't you think?

realize its about the greater good and advancing the human race and progressing our society

Uh, why would anyone do this when they could live off of what others are doing?

being self centered and only caring about themselves, yeah, it will work

Actually being self centered and wanting to better yourself is a great motivating force that shapes the world.

These are the most retarded suggestions for a BoR I have ever seen.

With the first one, you have eliminated everyone's right to discriminate.

Doesn't that void treason laws? You can sell state secrets to anyone, since you can't discriminate against nationality.

It also eliminates any exclusive clubs, all churches, men's/women's bathrooms, etc.

Your first amendment basically destroys America.

You either just wrote a bunch of Dem memes, or you are an idiot. I am reserving judgement on which it it for now.

As I read it, I was thinking there is no way one single person is this comprehensively stupid. Turns out I was right, it took a collective of liberal morons pooling their stupidity

well played.

Oh and yeah it's so bad it's hard to know where to begin to insult it.

Yeah, Rex is a liberal whacko, but he knows his football when he heads over the the Saints talk board, so points for that.

DA, well, he's pretty damn bad. I stand corrected

Did these dumbfrick liberals realize that they would go to jail under their new bill of rights for violating the new second amendment?

So you think in today's time it should be perfectly legal and acceptable to go up to a gay couple sitting on a park bench and call them flaming ****s?

Or go up to a Hispanic and call them an illegal immigrant who needs to go back to their country?

Or go up to a black family and call them the n word?

Legal yes, acceptable no.

If you really believe in all that you have written then you're not living in the real world. If YOUR bill of "rights" ever comes into existence in the real world then the government will legislate everything we say, do, and probably think.

All of these things are nuts! This is my professional opinion. Go volunteer somewhere. It will make you feel better!

Eta: well done! Lol

People would work because they WANT TO, not because they need the income to live. Work should be a public service, not a necessity to live. Our government provides for all citizens, than the citizens are allowed to be free to do as they choose. Believe it or not there would be some citizens who choose to work various jobs and help the society as a whole instead of doing it for personal gain.

Stop watching Star Trek!
